The Gödöllő Municipal Choir was founded in 1971 and got the ‘Pro Urbe Gödöllő’ Award in 2001. In 2004 it got the qualification ‘Concert Choir’. They sang the ‘Coronation Mass’ by Mozart during the ‘Ferencváros Days’. They regularly perform at the international festival ‘Cathedral.
The choirmaster is Kornél Pechan. They regularly perform with the Gödöllő Symphonic Orchestra and Guitar Orchestra and they have had mutual concerts with the Talamba Percussion Group and Gödöllő Municipal Wind Orchestra, too.
