Judit Halász has created a new genre as a performing artist parallelly to her
actor career. She has been singing poems of Hungarian poets for nearly thirty
years for children, and the top of Hungarian musicians composed music for them.
Generations have grown up listening to her albums.
After 18 albums a feature film was made with the artist for the first time. The
‘Csiribiri’ concert is a selection from the musical material of the concert
films and it summarises the most popular songs of the unique career of Judit
Halász.
Her latest album appeared with the title ‘Let the party begin’ in the autumn of
2014.
Her most important mission is to sustain the interest of families and children
for poetry and to entertain them unnoticeably in the form of songs, to draw
their attention to many important laws in life which we need to keep if we want
to live according to the ethics of humanism.
Children – for the first time in Hungary – awarded her the Order f the Smile.
She is a member of Víg Theatre, - and is a presidential member of UNICEF Hungary.
The Hungarian State has awarded her with Mari Jászai-Prize, Merited Artist
Award, the Hungarian Order of Merit and Kossuth-Prize for her
achievements.
