Every year on the last Saturday of June we commemorate that Hungary is a free, independent state- this is when the last Russian troops left our country. In 2000 the Parliament enacted that this day shall be the Day of Liberty. We have organised a celebration of this day in Gödölló at Világfa in Alsópark since 1991 with the participation of several thousand people by presenting the values of the Hungarian history and culture.

This year you can see the performance of the Gödöllő Dance Group.
