Mira Farkas comes from a musician family and it has never been a doubt for her that she would become a musician, too. She graduated from the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music with merit at the Harp Department in 2014, her teacher was Andrea Vigh. Solo, orchestra and chamber music is all present in her life and they strengthen one and other. In the past years she has gained experience performing with the MAV Symphony Orchestra, Concerto Budapest and other famous orchestras and led by conductors like Zoltán Kocsis, Kobajasi Kenicsiró or Ádám Fischer. Romanticism is the closest to the performing character and personality of the harpist because its passion and extremity was the golden era of harp literature. In case of chamber music she usually makes crossovers from pieces herself and is accompanied by cello, violin and flute, but she also performs with her sister in a classical harp-cymbal duet. Among many awards Mira Farkas regards her biggest achievement the Junior Prima Award, which she won in the Hungarian music art category in 2014. She has had concerts in many countries and thanks to this award she had the chance to go to Israel where the audience could listen to her as a soloist in Jerusalem and Tel-Aviv, too. She won the Annie Fischer performing scholarship in 2016.
