Mátraverebély-Szentkút
is a national shrine, situated at a multinational area 30 minutes from Hollókő.
Above the church we can find the caves of Szentkút on the hill, where hermits
used to live from the 13th century. Hollókő is real, honest and
genuine. Maybe this characterises the best this small village in Cserhát with
380 inhabitants, which is unique in Hungary, part of the World Heritage, is
well-known for its more than one hundred –year-old houses and is not similar to
an open-air village museum because it is more vivid than some small towns. It
keeps the traditions and dignity, in a way that it is not as if it were but it
is.

The participation fee includes the cost of bus, lunch, museum entrance tickets
