Dr. Petypon and dr. Mongicourt go to have fun at Maxim after a serious operation. Fun takes a twist when drunken Dr. Petypon takes home the start of the restaurant, La Mome, who is sad because his friend Corignont want to marry Clementin. Petypon’s uncle, the general thinks that the singer in a negligee is his cousin, so he invites her to Clementin’s wedding. Both La Mome and the real wife appear at the wedding, causing a lot of comical situations. La Mome elopes Corignont, but the general catches them. Finally, La Mome seduces the general, too and all the problems are solved.
