– through
presenting the methods of Waldorf-pedagogy –
What does
the school of the HAND, HEART and HEAD mean and how does it work in the
everyday life of children in a Waldorf school? How and what do they learn and
what activities do they have every day? What are their daily routines like and
what can they experience on their celebrations? How can they continue their
studies and cope with life outside the school?
I would
like to show the people who are interested the speciality, the educational and
developing principles of the Waldorf-pedagogy and the main characteristics of
teaching by projecting pictures taken in the Waldorf School of Gödöllő and by
organising a little exhibition. I would also like to talk about the importance
of celebrations, the role of parents and the work of teachers, to show the
people who are interested the nearly 100-year old pedagogical method which has been
the most common alternative school in our country since the change of the
regime. Last but not least my goal is to show our school, which is the second
eldest in the country, to the interested pensioners to dispel some misbelieves,
stereotypes that are still common among people outside our school.
