If you have been to Cuba, you have had the chance to experience that a live performance of a Cuban band can offer: it is an unforgettable, special experience which cannot be compared to anything. The life instinct of this folk is unbroken after so much hardship, despite so many tears and so much pain they celebrate the unconditional love of life and the pursuit of happiness every moment and the road to happiness is music and dance for the Cubans. Each of their song is a true history of life, in a special presentation that flies every viewer to the Caribbean.

The star of hot, smoky Cuban clubs, the number one favourite of Cuban people, the HABANA SOCIAL CLUB band started a tour with 80 stations in Latin America in 2016 but now they have concerts in Hungary, too.

The HABANA SOCIAL CLUB is a true successor of Buena Vista Social Club according to the Cuban and Latin American press with as many popular hits as its ancestor. The Buena Vista Social Club said farewell to the audience with the Adios Tour in 2014 and after that the popularity of Habana Social Club grew even more. The Habana Social Club has a history of more than half a century and some of the founders have already passed away, so the band of 11 musicians has been renewed many times during the decades and young virtuous musicians also joined the elder members. According to the founders Clemente Hechevarria and Rubén Gonzalez: ‘There is a song for all the memories of the Cuban folk and fate and these songs talk to all the people of the world, everyone can share our sorrow and happiness. This musical heritage requires humbleness and great responsibility from us, performers.’

During the Hungarian concert tour the audience can experience a special show and the Cuban feeling: apart from the original songs of the HABANA SOCIAL CLUB we can also hear several Latin American hits in acoustic adaptation. We can hear the greatest Cuban hits during our musical journey: Flor palida, Chan – Chan, Bailando, Vivir Mi Vida, Che commandante, Guantanamera, Caballo viejo, Represent Cuba, or Se que te amo, which was also remade by Ricky Martin.

The concert is a real musical delicacy for all age groups, the authentic scenes, the Cuban dancers, the colourful costumes and the projections from the everyday life of Habana make this evening unforgettable.
