The Club Theatre is looking forward to work with young people and adults who are interested in theatre this year again.
The Club Theatre was founded by Tibor Halász, one of the leaders of the association as an own initiation in 2005. The Club Theatre expanded its activities to other arts as well, such as photography or the world of film.
Apart from theatrical performances they also have photo or short film exhibitions. The association invests a great amount of energy in finding and educating new talents. Thanks to this they work now with five groups.
We can find children at the age of 8, teenagers at the age of 13 and adults over 20. Our ensamble Club Theatre is made up of ‘more mature’ actors with more routine. We think it is essential to find new talents so Club Theatre annually invites amateur playwrights to send in their application for introduction. The best two pieces are staged by the adult ensamble of the Club Theatre. The popularity of the application is proven by the fact that almost 70 pieces were sent in from all over the country and by Hungarians over the border in 2008.
Our members focus on phrosaic theatre and poem telling but we also offer trainings in movement, basic theatre culture and learning about other genres.
