While Moiseyev
ruled Europe, Virsky rules the United States. It is because Virsky only spends
2 months of the year in Europe but the group celebrating its 80th
birthday in 2018 makes an exception and has a tour in Europe, too and the best
is that Hungary is a station of the tour, too. It is a real honour to see their
new dances on the stage.

creative choreography, the colourful costumes impress the audience all over the
world. The acrobatic skills of the solo dancers, the diverse virtuosity of the
female and male chorus lines, the conscious spirituality to keep values, the
wise and optimistic content together make the almost magical, soul-elevating
power of the ensemble.
VIRSKY has won several international prizes - the Ukrainian State Folk
Ensemble has been a guest in more than 60 countries: they have been on the
stage in the United States, Vietnam, Korea, China, Cuba, Austria, Great
Britain, Belgium, France, Spain, Italy, Greece, Brazil, Argentina, Venezuela,
Portugal, Switzerland, Denmark, Andorra and Japan. Several millions of overseas
viewers applauded for minutes in America and Canada to the group after seeing
this great choreography.
The world famous ensemble is made of 84 members, VIRSKY is the State Folk Ensemble
of Ukraine and they will be seen in different cities of Hungary between 4th
and 30th May. The motto of the unique production that is
breathtaking and denying the rules of physics is: VIRSKY- A name that re-wrote
the history of dance.
